Doris M.  Kull (Meyer)
Doris M. Kull, 98 of Bloomfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home of 76 years on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. She was born in Minot, North Dakota on August 19, 1919 to the late Theodore and Ida (Rowe) Meyer. She attended Minot Schools and graduated in 1937. Doris then graduated from the University of Wisconsin where she met Arthur Lawrie Kull. They married on September 10, 1941 in Minot, ND.
Doris and Art Kull and Lorne and Helen Bagnall purchased Mariondale Farms and Dairy from Grover Kull. In later years, Bill Bagnall purchased his father's share of the business.
Doris was a 53-year member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva, a Red Cross Blood Drive Volunteer for 25 years and a longtime member of the Lake Geneva Garden Club. She was also a member of the American Association of University Women and taught Sunday School for 11 years at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Slades Corners.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Kull and her parents Theodore and Ida Meyer. She is survived by her sister Mary Varberg of Neenah, WI, a son A. Lawrie (Mary) Kull of Sturgeon Bay, WI and daughter Mary (Ron) Goodwin of Denver, CO. She has five grandchildren: Andrew (Holly) Kull of Wauwatosa, WI, Elizabeth (John) Marsack of Menomonee Falls, WI, Laura Mitzner, Daniel (Rachel Baumel) Mitzner of Denver, CO, and Alex (Lauren) Mitzner of New York, NY. She also has nine grandchildren: Alexandria and Isabella Kull of Wauwatosa, WI, Arianna and Helena Marsack of Menomonee Falls, WI, Cheyenne Shorts, Alexis and Chloe Mitzner of Denver, CO, and Grace and Jack Mitzner of New York, NY.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1101 Logan Street, Lake Geneva) from 9-11am. A funeral service will be held at 11am with Pastor Peter Metzger officiating. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church or Aurora at Home Hospice (1155 Honey Creek Parkway, Wauwatosa, WI 53213). Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lake Geneva, WI is proudly serving the Kull family.
