Frances Lodene Kinkade, 74, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held 2:00 Monday at the Church of God in Ripley, OK. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Frances was born to Joseph Calvin Courtright and Dorthea Opal (Burton) Courtright, on February 11, 1943. She married her High School sweetheart Danny Alton Kinkade at the Church of God in Ripley on November 25, 1960.
Eleven months later twin daughters, Linda and Glenda, joined them. On March 16, 1964 Rhonda Jo and the forever talked about Black Angus Bull were both born. They finally got that boy, Daniel, they wanted in 1971. They both said numerous times they should have stopped with that black Jersey Bull! After raising the kids Frances worked at Robb Container in Cushing, OK and National Standard before retiring from the United States Post Office.
Frances was on numerous bowling leagues over the last 54 years – sometimes bowling up to 4 days a week. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and traveling with Danny. Her favorite passion was shopping.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Linda Hoipkemier and Glenda Campbell; daughter, Rhonda (Edward) of Ripley; one son, Daniel (Christa) of Chandler; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; three brothers, Randall Jean Courtright (Mary), Troy Courtright (Barbara), and Don Courtright; numerous nieces and nephews.
