John Jacob Gloor, 82, of Mitchell passed away surrounded by his family at University Hospital, London on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

Beloved husband of Jean Gloor. Dear father of Patricia Taylor (William), Ruth Lucas (Tom Rehberg), Susan Wilken (Grant Bernard), Steven Gloor (Tracy), Nancy Gloor and Jason Gloor (Penny). Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He will be missed by his companion "Otis" and remembered by the Eisler family and a number of foster girls.

Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Emma Gloor and grandson Jonathan Lucas.

In 2000, John retired as shop foreman from the County of Perth.

Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Laura Sauder officiating. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Stratford General Hospital or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
