Paul Junior Phillips, age 92, formerly of 106 Colorado Street, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Unicoi County Long Term Care, Erwin. He was a son of the late Garrett and Nellie Rose Huskins Phillips. Paul was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was self employed. He enjoyed fishing and playing his musical instruments.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, one daughter, Connie Riddle and husband, Larry, of Erwin;
one sister, Stella Rutherford, of Erwin; two grandchildren: Amie Harrison and husband, Dwayne, of Chesterfield, VA, Tammy Knop and husband, Marc, of Unicoi; three great-grandchildren: Brittney, Michael, and Skylar; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Roselawn Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:25 A.M. Thursday.
