Dear family of Vassie, I have met Vassie a couple of times and remember how warm, welcoming, & loving her & her sisters were. She was very special to me due to how close her & my mom, Barbara Hixson (1st cousins) were. I was in Georgia visiting my parents when they lived there when Aunt Edith passed. I remember going to her funeral and I know I met a lot of relatives at the time. That was some years ago and don’t really remember anyone except for whom I always referred to my mom as “the four V’s”. I know they were all special to mom, especially Vassie. She will be missed & sadly she passed on my birthday.☹️ Hugs to the family. Cousin Linda
