Obituary for Gabriel Nathan Sollenberger

Gabriel Nathan Sollenberger, 20, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born August 15, 1997, in Hershey, PA, he was the son of Dwight A. and Cheryl E. Armstrong Sollenberger.
Gabriel attended Franklin Learning Center. He loved going to school, his friends, teachers and his nurses. He also enjoyed music, going to concerts, movies, bowling, swimming and camping. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Gabriel is survived by three siblings, Zachary, Sabrina, and Kyra Sollenberger, all of Chambersburg; his paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Nicholas and Jeannie Sollenberger; and his niece Aubrei McSwiggan. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary and Edgar Perry; and his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Mary Armstrong.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2017, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1811 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Pastor Robert Macfarlane will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Air Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Franklin Learning Center, 2397 Loop Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
