Frank Cabral, 47, of Hartford, beloved husband of Betty (Carreiro) Cabral, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017. Born in Hartford, the son of Maria Cabral of Hartford and the late Antonio Cabral, he was a lifelong resident of Hartford. Frank was employed for many years at the Wall Street Journal and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Besides his wife and mother, Frank leaves a son, Aiden Cabral of Rocky Hill; a step-daughter, Brianna Himmel of East Hartford; his three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Joanne Cabral and Joe Andrade of Hartford, Lucy Andrade of Hartford, Guida and Joe Silva of Rocky Hill; three nephews, Joey Andrade, Kyle and Dylan Silva; his former wife, Kathy Cabral of Rocky Hill. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog, Ginger. He was predeceased by a brother, Jose Cabral.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, (Dec. 8), 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Everyone is requested to meet at the Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Thursday, (Dec. 7), from 6 to 8 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
