Patricia Ann Barnett was born on April 16, 1930 to the late Mack Calvin and Viola Nancy Arnold Gary in Edna, TX and departed this life on December 6, 2017 at the age 87.

She leaves to cherish her memory her 4 sons, Arthur Barnett, Jr (Adelaida), Gary Barnett, Val Barnett, and Abbie Barnett (Faye), her 8 daughters, Viola M. Holman (John), Dorothur O’Donnell, Brenda Hopkins, Mary L. Lewis (Earl), Patricia P. Ross, Lillian Jackson, Sabrina Campbell and Lataine Boston (Torrance); her sisters Joni Burgess and Cordia Stevens; sisters in laws Frances Randall and Faye Sterling; 55 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur Barnett, Sr.; sisters Geraldine Green, Mary Ella Griffin, Esther Lee Callis, Teresa Gary, Gracie Gary, and Irma Hopes Edwards; her brothers Wheeler Gary, Walter Gary, and Morris Gary; her grandchildren Etosha Holman and Taberoa Jackson; and great grandson J’Kalen Holman.

A viewing will begin at 10:00am on December 16, 2017 at the L.E. Meador Encampment Grounds in Cuero, TX with funeral services beginning at 11:00am with Minister Kenneth Jackson, officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
