Condolence: Heaven Must Be Smiling

Heaven must be smiling, and this I know to be true, Because when you reached those pearly gates, they said, "Velma we've been waiting on you."

Heaven must be smiling because they just got another angel, And although we're sad you're gone, go ahead and claim your seat at the table.

Heaven must be smiling with all your family and friends, What a joyous occasion for all of you to be together again.

I can see Gwen now kissing you and saying, "Mama, it's been so long"! And there goes Todd, embracing you with all his love.

How about those sisters of yours, I know they were just grinning when God told them you were on your way, Can you imagine the cooking that's going to be going on up in Heaven everyday!

Then there's grandpa George and grandma Annie, just sitting back, rocking in their chairs, Taking it all in and being proud of how well they're prepared.

For each and every one of us to be together again one day, So when you look down at us Aunt Velma, don't worry, just say, " I Know Heaven Is Smiling On You All, and I'll See You Again Someday"!
