Condolence From: Lydia Harris Hambrick
Condolence: Mrs. Hamperian was the most magnificent of teachers. From middle school to high school my father would drive me from St Marys to her home in Williamstown for lessons every week. She is one of the many reasons I am a music teacher today. Her tenacity and wit were contagious and while I, being perturbed at a teenage- age of the stringent performance level she expected, its because of her knowledge and tuteldge that so many students like me are where we are today. She will always be remembered as the BEST OF THE BEST! I am so sad that I cannot be at her service this weekend, but know that I will be playing a Tchaikovsky Concerto in her honor and shedding many tears for a lady of great determination, discipline and love for all of the lives she has touched with her gifts, talents and time. Condolences to her children and family, we have loved knowing you through her. She loves you very much and she will always be loved for the gifts she has given us. A remarkable woman with an even more remarkable legacy. Her music lives on and will continue to touch more and more lives.

Condolence: Marj will be sadly missed by all local musicians who knew her as a versatile and talented person, willing to contribute to any type of musical organization be it church music, jazz, big band,orchestral, you name it! I have enjoyed performing with her for, probably, 50 years in all the above genres. May she continue to inspire all who knew her and those she'll meet in heaven.
