Condolence From: Walter E Meshaka
Condolence: to Rudy's family,

I only just now found out about Rudy's passing. I had him for Ethology while at OSU shortly before he retired. I admired Rudy and I learned a lot from this insightful man and gentle soul. I know that this message is late, but never late to share kind feelings about someone. My condolences and my kind wishes for his loved ones.

Condolence: Rudolph’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

Condolence From: Jeff Schatz
Condolence: It is with great sadness that I learn of Rudy’s passing and I wish the family my sincere condolences.
Rudy was, in most ways, a second father to me. He taught me that a man could be kind and compassionate – even if a bit cantankerous from time to time. But most of all, Rudy taught me that the truest value of a person came from what knowledge they could pass to their students and the intellect and art they could share. These were the very same lessons that I have tried to pass onto my children.
I will continue to cherish Rudy’s life and his contributions to his world – both near and far. My life has been much richer with him in it.
Love and compassion,
Jeff Schatz
