Betty L. Bower, 63, of Nittany, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at her home. Born on May 30, 1954, in Williamsport, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harriet Chapman and step-father, Kenneth Chapman. She married Harry Bower, who survives at home.
Betty was a graduate of Loyalsock High School. She worked in sales at Wolf Furniture.

Along with her husband, she is survived by one son, Zachary Bower, two daughters; Alicia Deitrick and Melanie Bower (fiancé William Hall) and four grandchildren; Dylan, Skilyn, Jayden, and Ethan.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Megan Alterio for taking special care of Betty.
