Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Piet van Dijken can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Lorelie,
You may not remember me, but we met back in 2001-2002 at a state park in Texas. Keith and I owned the identical fifth-wheel to you and Piet and we were also birding (very amateurishly). You and I met again several years ago at a conference on ageing in Winnipeg.
I remember sharing a couple of lovely evenings with you and Piet in Texas and enjoying his bird expertise and stories. My sincere sympathy for your loss - I hope the joy of your years together helps to heal the pain of his parting.
Sincerely - Davilyn Eyolfson - Lundar/Wpg
