Stephen Eugene Hamm

Stephen, 69, of Cecil Twp. on December 16, 2017 passed away surrounded by his loving family in his home.
He was born September 2, 1948 in South Williamsport PA the son of the late Joseph and Louise (Huffman) Hamm.
Mr.Hamm was the beloved husband of 46 years to Christine (Baker) Hamm who survives. Adored father of Stephen Hamm of Ohio, Michael (Stephanie) Hamm of North Fayette Twp., Thomas (Jacque) Hamm of Cecil Twp.; grandchildren, Alexis, Emma, Stephen, William and Gavin Hamm. Also surviving are three brothers, Joseph Hamm of South Williams Port, PA, Thomas Hamm of MD and David Hamm.

Stephen was a graduate of South Williamsport High School and Edinboro University. He was a retired teacher for the West Allegheny School District where he helped to mentor children for 32 ½ years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and softball and was known to many as “Mr. Fixit”.

Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald where service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodruff Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
