Wilma June Brooks, age 75, a resident of Somerset, KY formally of Pineville, KY passed away Saturday December 16, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Hospital in Somerset, She was born February 22, 1942 in Bell County, KY to the late Walter and Nancy Golden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Brooks, sister Jean and Jodie, brother Hollis Golden, grandson Charles Ashley Phipps and great-granddaughter Dawn Miller.
Survivors include her children Jackie Brooks, Darrell Brooks (Irma) and Geri Brooks McCool (David); grandchildren Jaclyn Brooks Miller (Rex), Emily Brooks-Boy (Jason), Ginger Brooks Turner (Andrew), Leanna Brooks, Steve Phipps (Brooke), Whitney Godsey (Derek), Amanda Brooks Branstutter (Michael), Ashley Brooks-Bennett (Mike); great-grandchildren, Jeff Miller, Ryan Miller, Renae Miller, Ethan Miller, Bailey Ramsey, Dylan Ramsey, Drake Miller, Jessie Boy, Hayden Deitsch, Parker Deitsch, Aaron Turner, Drystyn Turner, Blakely Brooks, Haley Phipps, Savannah Phipps, Spencer Phipps, Jordan Godsey, Camden Godsey, Harper Godsey, Chanda Martin, Gracie Branstutter and Annslee Bennett.
