Obituary for Thomas Prickett
Thomas Prickett, born January 8, 1944 in Waco, concluded his exceptional life on December 15, 2017.
Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 21, at Tate Springs Baptist Church, 4201 Little Rd., Arlington. Interment: 1:30 p.m. Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
A native of Fort Worth, he served 26 years in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Vietnam. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Tom served faithfully at Tate Springs Baptist Church. To the very end, he was considering how to serve and bless others.
He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat. Their love was absolute. Additionally, he is survived by a son, Scott, and daughter-in-law, Julie as well as a daughter, Deb, and son-in-law, Rob. Tom has five grandchildren; Robbie, Chay, Stephani, Olivia and Haynes and two great-grandsons, Robert and Joshua. He has four siblings, Linda, Sharon, Donna and David. He was loved by his nieces and nephews and extended family.
