Condolence From: Dave Romesburg
Condolence: I knew Al by working with him on the Johnstown Pd and knew his late wife, Pat as well from the many Charity Balls we all attended. Al was working the radio the night I was shot in 1969 and it was very stressful for Al because they couldn't locate me right away. He was a fine police officer and an excellent K9 officer and trained many officers as well. I was glad to be able to have a few moments speaking to him when he was first hospitalized in Johnstown before transporting to Vermont. My deepest sympathy all his family. I was blessed to know Albert Lloyd!

Condolence: I met “Dogman” during the 70s when he was active on the CB radio. Though I was just a young teenager at the time, he and Pat were good friends with my parents, Ray “Red Jeep” and Janet Korber. Many good times were had at our house, at Al’s and when they all went bar hopping at Cal And Dot’s Bar. It was an evening you had to attend...if not, you were sure to be visited at 2am by all of those that did go out. And finally I’ll never forget the night Al kept me out of trouble at the War Memorial. He was a very fine example of a true gentleman.

Condolence: I didn't know Al for long but he shared a room with my father, Al at Starr Farm Nursing Center in Burlington, VT. I had a couple of nice chats with him about his work in law enforcement and security and found out quite soon that I knew his daughter and taught her children in school. It is a small world and I was blessed to have a short acquaintance with him. From my father and my family, sincere sympathy to his family, especially Lynne and her children. May they remember him fondly in their memories and may he rest in eternal peace!

Condolence: To Al's family, I didn't have the opportunity to work with Al but I got to know him while he was at Crown and the restaurant. I just loved talking with Al, such a wonderful man, I would go out of my way to talk with him even for a brief moment.
I know you will cherish his memory as I will also.
