Graveside funeral services for Mr. Edward Eugene Tatum were held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Martin Memorial Gardens at 11:00 AM with burial that followed. Mr. Tatum age 84 of Martin died on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born to the late Marvin Casteel and Edith Lee Tatum on July 22, 1933 in Hohenwald, TN. He was a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church and he served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife; Joyce Todd of Martin, 5 brothers; Tom Tatum of Marion, IL., Virgil Lee Casteel of Martin, TN, Jerry Wayne Casteel of Paris, TN, Jimmy Paul Casteel of Haleyville, AL, Terry Michael Casteel of Martin, TN, his 2 sisters; Betty Hutcheson and Vicki Barker both of Tullahoma, TN. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
