Condolences

Condolence From: Jennie Weaver
Condolence: I have very fond memories of Henry when we would visit Martinsville. He was such a kind man. The whole Weaver family will ever be thankful for his kind and continual care of Grandpa and Grandma Lucy. He was truly a servant of Christ. It was always interesting hearing of his service to our country in WWII. So comforting knowing he is home worshiping his Lord he served so well.

Condolence: I will always remember “Mr. Henry” as a big part of our Weaver family Martinsville trips throughout my childhood. He was such a wonderful friend to all of us, cared for my great-grandparents so well during their final years, and we really consider him a part of the family. He was one of the few people I have known in my lifetime who had served our country during WWII, and I always respected his service so much. He will be missed, but never forgotten by all those who love him. See you again someday, Mr. Henry! So grateful for the hope of a heavenly family reunion.

Condolence From: John Cobb
Condolence: We will always remember Henry as a man of courage for his service in the Second World War, as a caring friend who lovingly ministered to our family for many years, and a godly man, who served his Savior Jesus and his church through these decades. Henry will be missed, but not forgotten.

Condolence From: Andrew Weaver
Condolence: We thank God for the blessing Henry has been to our family. When he moved onto my grandfather's property many years ago, he became part of our family. In fact, he is included in many of our photos from family reunions and videos. Henry faithfully helped out at the old Liberty Street house, and lovingly cared for Grandpa and Grandma Lucy in their later years. In recent years, we enjoyed seeing Henry when we visited Martinsville, and so enjoyed the occasional phone call. Henry was a kind and caring man with an evident faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We will miss him here on this earth, but are thankful for the hope of eternal life in Christ.
