Obituary for Stephen J. ""Bruno"" Butterworth
Stephen J. "Bruno" Butterworth, 66, of Snow Shoe passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 3, 1951 in Philipsburg, the son of the late John W. and Ann F. Urbanik Butterworth. On May 19, 1973 he married the former
Marilyn J. Viehdorfer (Butterworth) who survives at home. "Bruno" was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, having worked at Glenn O. Hawbaker, Carlins and Johnson & Morgan. He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed restoring old cars, hunting, fishing and was an avid outdoors man.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Jared L. Butterworth of Snow Shoe, his brothers, Frank W."Bill" Butterworth of Snow Shoe, John W. "Herk" Butterworth of Clarence and his sister, Sarah Haynes of Snow Shoe. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Butterworth and his brother, Thomas "Pete" Butterworth.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the immediate family.
