Obituary for William M Bugbee



STOCKHOLM – Funeral services for Mr. William M. Bugbee, 55, his daughters, Allazza L., age 6, and Livia N., age 5; and his step daughter, Shaylee L. Baxter, 14 will be held Saturday 2:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Parishville. Calling hours will be held on Friday 2-4:00 PM and 7-9:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family tragically passed away early Tuesday morning, December 19, 2017 at their home on Pickle Street in the Town of Stockholm.

Bill was born July 29, 1962 in Syracuse and was currently working with his friend, Victor Pitts doing various types of mechanical work. He also worked for a time as a bus mechanic in Poughkeepsie before moving to the North Country. On October 6, 2010, he started dating his wife, Carrie L. Baxter, later marrying in Massena on July 16, 2016. They were blessed with two daughters, Allazza and Livia. Bill enjoyed spending time with his girls, snowmobiling, model airplanes, and boating.

Along with his wife, Bill is survived by 3 additional daughters, Samantha Bugbee of Colorado, Lindsey Bugbee of Weedsport, and Abigail Bugbee of Syracuse; 2 grandchildren, Gabe and Emma; his brother, Robert Bugbee and his companion, Lisa M. Tokarz of East Greenbush; 2 aunts and a niece.

Shaylee was born March 5, 2003 in Potsdam, the daughter of Carrie Baxter and Daniel Webber and was currently an 8th grade student at St. Lawrence Central School. She loved to read, watch television, playing with her DS, and loved horses and shopping. She along with her sisters enjoyed visiting with their grandmother and playing with their cousins.

In addition to her mother and father, Shaylee is survived by her grandparents, Cindy (Mallette) Baxter of Parishville and Timothy and Tamara Jerome of Potsdam and her great grandparents, Richard and June Mallette of Florida.

Allazza, “Daddy’s Little Helper” and a happy go lucky little girl, was born on July 12, 2011 in Poughkeepsie, the first child of Bill and Carrie, was currently a 1st grader at St. Lawrence Central, where she loved all that she learned. She loved Paw Patrol, watching television, and playing with her toys.

Livia, “The Wild Child” and a bundle of energy, was born November 7, 2012 in Poughkeepsie, the second child of Bill and Carrie, and she truly enjoyed being in kindergarten at St. Lawrence Central. She also loved Paw Patrol, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and balloons

Allazza and Livia are also survived by their grandmother, Cindy (Mallette) Baxter and great grandparents, Richard and June Mallette. The girls are also survived by their aunts and uncles, Stacie and Timothy Kohl of Parishville, Chris and Mackenzie Tyler of Saranac Lake, Justin and Elizabeth Tyler of Potsdam and Shaylee is also survived her father’s siblings, Nicole Webber, and Kasey and Caitlyn Jerome, all of Potsdam; and many cousins.

Shaylee, Allazza, and Livia were predeceased by their grandfather, Irving Baxter and step grandfather Robert Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may made memorial contributions to the Brasher-Winthrop Volunteer Fire Department of the Tri-Town Volunteer Rescue Squad.
