Frank Graham Lawrence - The best father anyone could be blessed with, husband and friend to many went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 18th, 2017.
Funeral: 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013 with Pastor Scott Sigman officiating.
Burial: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 26th, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home.
Memorials: Please make any donations to a local Alzheimer's Association.
Frank G. Lawrence was born August 31st, 1931 in Texas City, Texas to Frank G. Lawrence Sr. and Izora L. (Cornett) Lawrence. He graduated from Texas City High School then attended Wharton Junior College and San Angelo State College where he played football for both schools. Frank met Wanda L. Eddy at San Angelo State and the two were married August 18th, 1951. They celebrated 54 years of marriage until Wanda preceded him in going to be with the Lord. They raised two daughters, two sons and enjoyed many grandchildren during their life together. They lived in Texas and New Mexico.
Frank G. Lawrence served in the Armed Forces in the Army's 6th Armed Division, Ft. Leonard Wood, MO.
Frank remarried in 2007 to Margaret Burke, they lived in North Richland Hills, Texas for the past ten years.
Survivors: Spouse, Margaret; daughter, Brooksie and her husband, Matt Terrell; daughter, Lindie Lawrence; son, Frank Jr. "Pokey" and wife, Kristen Lawrence; son, Bobby and wife, Nicole Lawrence; grandchildren, Shannon, Amy, Matthew, Timothy, Anthony, Taylor, Jamie, Carly, Landon, Collin and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Anna, Rylan, Sara, Paisely and Alexander; stepsons, Bill Burke and wife, Beverly, Brad Burke and Bob Burke.
