Beatrice Jane "Bea"  Scott (McLean)
Beatrice Jane “Bea” Scott (McLean) of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Louis and Erma Jane (Alexander) McLean on April 2, 1927 in Freeland, Michigan. She left from this life, surrounded by family on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Victorian Place at the age of 90 years.

Bea was united in marriage to Clifford Eldon Scott on May 26, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas. To this union ten children were born, Barbara, James Eldon, Ronald Lee, Darrel Glen, Erma, Eileen, Janet, Bert Douglas, Linda Ann and David Wayne.

Bea was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed a good laugh, music, cooking, baking, swimming, roller and ice skating, memory games, playing pinochle and bingo. Spending time and taking care of her family, was the most important part of her life.

Bea is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Erma Jane (Alexander) McLean; husband Clifford Eldon Scott; two brothers Donald and Douglas McLean; one sister Marjorie McAllister.

Those who are left to treasure her memory and to continue her legacy are her ten children Barbara and husband Mohammad Abbasss Ali of Santa Barbara, California, James Eldon and wife Donna Scott of Cuba, Missouri, Ronald Lee and wife Margaret Scott of Leasburg, Missouri, Darrel Glen Scott and fiancé Joy Simpson of Bourbon, Missouri, Erma and husband Tom Wideman of St. Clair, Missouri, Eileen Scott and significant other Terry Voidanoff of Cuba, Missouri, Janet and husband Pete Duffy of Sullivan, Missouri, Bert Douglas and wife Carrie Scott of Cuba, Missouri, Linda Ann and husband Darren Dotson of Leasburg, Missouri, David Wayne Scott and significant other Julie Burgess of Cuba, Missouri; one sister Mary Clark of Willow Springs, Missouri; thirty-five grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 1:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor John Parker, officiating.

Interment will follow at Lick Creek Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

If desired, memorials would be appreciated to a Special Fund for Little Jimmy Eickhorst (Please make checks payable to Erma Wideman).
