Eleanor L.  Parsons
Eleanor Louise Parsons, 91, of Liverpool, N.Y. died peacefully on Dec. 24, 2017 at the home of her son Michael, in Lake George, N.Y.
Eleanor was born in Rensselaer, N.Y. to Charles and Veda Snyder, on Dec. 5, 1926. She graduated from St. John's Academy, and went on to pursue a secretarial career; first at Farm Bureau Insurance, and later as an executive secretary at Rockaway Stapling and Empire Prosthetics. She was a past member of Radisson Golf Club, enjoyed travelling during the winter to St. Simons Island, golf, shopping, baking, and spending time with her family.
Eleanor is predeceased by her parents Charles and Veda, her husband Robert, and a sister, Esther Bulnes.
She is survived by her sister Ruth Bonacquisti of Rensselaer, daughter Mary (David) Welch of Danbury, Ct, son Michael (Colette) Parsons of Lake George, N.Y., daughter Jeanne Parsons of Penfield, N.Y., grandchildren Charles and Brett Parsons, and Matthew and Christopher Welch.
Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home 1700 Washington Avenue Rensselaer Thursday at 7pm. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call to the funeral home prior to the service from 4-7 PM.
Burial will follow on Friday at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville,N.Y.
