Romaine M.  Ressler (Hock)
Romaine M. Ressler, 86, of Shippensburg, passed away, Monday, December 25, 2017 in the Falling Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg.

She was born January 26, 1931 in Shippensburg, PA. Romaine was the oldest daughter of the late Glen and Helen Shughart Hock.

She was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg. Romaine farmed with her late husband most of her life. Her husband, Elmer Ressler passed away December 21, 2011. Romaine enjoyed going to public sales and yard sales.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Ressler of Hope, Alaska and Frank Ressler and wife Tammy of Shippensburg, four grandchildren, Cheyenne, Nicole, Cory and Nathan all of Shippensburg, four great-grandchildren, Makenna, Camden, Madelynn and Atlee, three sisters, Joann, wife of E. Martin Miller of Dillsburg, Judy, wife of Tim Ridgley of Fayetteville and Sue, wife of Donald Hull of Greencastle and two brothers, Jack Hock of Fayetteville and Ken Hock, husband of Judy Hock of Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Smith, Shirley Shultz and Glenda Seal and two brothers, Robert and Gary Hock.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. James O. Bolich. Burial will be held in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Prince Street United Brethren Church, 17 N. Penn St., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
