1952-2017
Robert J. Hanna, Jr, 65 of Springfield, PA., died Saturday December 23, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Robert J. Hanna, Sr. and the late Mary (Pilson) Hanna. Bob lived in Springfield for the past 36 years coming from Rutledge, PA. In 1970
he graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School and received his bachelor’s degree in 1974 from St. Francis University, Loretto, PA where he was a member of Alpha-Phi Delta Fraternity
Bob was a Letter Carrier, employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
He was an avid gardener, and enjoyed painting and reading.
Survived by his wife: Gayle (nee Easterday) Hanna
Son: Robert J. Hanna III
two daughters: Allison (Kevin) Heatherby and Erin Hanna,
sister: Mary Regina Dell'Orefice
Papa of his Grandson, Kevin Heatherby
Memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pk, Glenolden
Friends may call Friday from 9-11 am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service.
Interment will be private
