He had many adventures and enjoyed sharihg his knowledge and experiences in an engaging manner. Condolence: I only met Arlie half way through my Senior year in 1985, but he was a great influence in my life. He introduced me to classical music and a love for theatre. He took some of us to see Amadeus in the theatre and as a play at Mt Hood CC. Arlie was someone I will never forget. He will be missed, but forever loved.

I did not have the privilege of meeting you in person, but I came to know you through your brother, my dear friend Lew Holt. He spoke and wrote of you often. He shared pictures, which I treasure. Two in particular are telling: one of you and Lew, as little boys in overalls, each holding a little kitten; the other, taken on Patty's wedding day. Patty looks radiantly, peacefully beautiful, and you look elegant, dapper, and happy.
