Obituary for Loneita May Miller

Loneita May Miller a resident of Dallas, Oregon died on Friday, Dec. 22 in Salem. Loneita was born November 22, 1929 in Berryville, Arkansas to Roy and Carmen Keen. Loneita moved with her family in 1936, at the age of 7, from Arkansas to Idaho. Her family moved again in 1941 when Loneita was 12 years old, to a logging camp in Nehalem, Oregon. Loneita attended school in Nehalem, and later graduated from Nehalem High School. Loneita had many enjoyments in life, which ranged from gardening to reading, crossword puzzles, and coloring. She especially enjoyed being outdoors in nature. She loved to go to Basket Slough and watch the birds.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Casterline, her late husband Roy Miller, daughter Winona Warburton, daughter Ami Barrett and step son Richard Miller, and 3 siblings.

She is survived by daughter Alia Thompson, sister Bonnie Hern, and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 29th at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Interment will take place at Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Tillamook, Oregon.
