Helen Lenora (Virkler) Long, 88, of Bellefonte, passed into God’s hands on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Albert Howard and Ivory Carmel (Quesenberry) Virkler. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey Howard Long, and their daughter Barbara Gail Long.

Helen was a graduate of Rider University. She worked and retired from Heinemann Electric.

Helen raised her family in Creamery, Skippack, and Schwenksville, PA all before moving to Ewing, NJ. They lived in Ewing for 50 years.

She is survived by two sons and two grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother. She leaves her family overwhelming love and inspiration.

A memorial service for Helen will be held at a later date.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
