Daniel John Mouton
Crowley- A Liturgy of the Word Service will be celebrated for Daniel J. Mouton, 79, at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 1, 2018 in the Duhon Funeral Home-Crowley Chapel with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating. Visitation will begin in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM and will resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until just prior to the time of service. Interment will follow the chapel service and will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery “New” in Rayne, LA. Mr. Mouton passed away on Friday, December29, 2017 at his residence in Carencro, LA.
Mr. Mouton is survived by his children, Earl Mouton and wife, Patsy of Carencro, LA, Donna Senegal of Ridge, LA, Keith Mouton and his wife, Fairlean of Crowley, LA; sisters, Elizabeth Comeaux and her husband, Gilford , Shirley Romero and her husband, Ray , Ethel Miller all of Crowley, LA; grandchildren, Corie Dugas, Jacoby Senegal, Tabitha Dugas, Tara Dugas, Eric Mouton, Aaron Mouton, Jasmine Senegal Allen, Shelbie Mouton and Clay Mouton; seventeen great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clovis J. Mouton and Audrey Hebert Mouton; grandsons, Dwayne Mouton, Joshua Mouton and Jeremy Senegal; his first wife and mother of his children, Beverly Meaux Mouton.
Pallbearers will be Tabitha Dugas, Corie Dugas, Eric Mouton, Clay Mouton, Aaron Mouton and Karl Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be Shelbie Mouton, Latasha Butler, Denzel Allen and Drake Dugas.
