My parents came to the United States as immigrants with a family of three. They believed in hard work and the American dream of making a better life for their family. My mother showed us that family was incredibly important and would always be there for you. She taught us that love conquers all and to move past your differences. Her life lessons are to numerous to list and we hope to instill those lessons and values to our children. But most of all, she taught us that no matter how difficult life was, you just keep trusting God and moving on. She didn't let us camp in the difficulties but encouraged us to believe in the hope that it would be better. She knew that God had the ultimate say in al lthings. Her favorite saying was "inshallah" which means God willing.
So, there would not be enough words to explain the impact she had on all of us. We love you Mom and can't imagine that we can't call you to talk with you or that you could give us guidance again. In spite of our pain, we rejoice in that you are celebrating with Jesus, Dad, Tata, Bob and others.
