John William Massey
Febuary 21,1962 - December 28, 2017
John is survived by his partner, Brian Linsner, sister, Rebecca Westerhoff, father Jimmy L. Massey, three nieces, one nephew, one grandniece and two grandnephews. John joins his mother, Shirley Holmes Massey and his paternal and maternal grandparents to walk with the Lord. John was a vibrant, fun loving, easy going, kind friend, partner, bother, uncle and son. He loved life and never met a stranger. His knowledge of the automotive industry started at the family business in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He laughed about attending college by day and repo'ing cars by night. John was loved by everyone personally and professionally. His love for people made him lovable in return. He was always there to help, heal, or just listen. He loved God and knew his eternal life would be in his presence. John was a simple man. He was born in Tyler, Texas and was a small town boy at heart. However, he loved the excitement of the big city.

A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 01:00pm in the afternoon at Murrieta Valley Funeral Home located at 24651 Washington Ave. Murrieta , CA 92562. Please check back for an updated obituary.
