Margaret Ann Graham, 99, of Matawan, passed away on January 1, 2018 in Red Bank.
Born in Shrewsbury, she has lived in Matawan most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Keyport. Margaret worked in the Matawan Regional School System for many years, retiring at the age of 75.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1986; her grandson, Scott; her great grandson, Jordan; and her brothers Thomas, Raymond, Robert, Gregory, James, and Harold McGowan; and her sister Katherine McGrory. She is survived by her two sons, John of Keyport and Robert of Toms River; two daughters, Deborah Shanahan , and Margaret Anderson both of Toms River; two sisters, Mary Arbaczawski of Jupiter, FL and Florence Sturt of Parlin; eight grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, January 7th from1:00 to 5:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Keyport. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
