Esther C. Davison, 94, of Kenosha, was peacefully called to eternal life with her family by her side at Aurora Medical Center Campus on Monday, January 1, 2018.
Esther was born on November 29, 1923, to the late Alfred and Catherine (Kohls) Kreuser. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha.
On October 5, 1940, she married Russell H. Davison in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1978.
Esther’s family was important to her and she spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. You’d often find her sitting with her great-grandchildren to share her love of drawing. She never wanted for herself and always made sure others were happy and well fed. She enjoyed going on many memorable trips with her family. Esther never turned down an invitation to play BINGO or head to the casino. Every day she would start her morning with coffee while reading the newspaper. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Surviving Esther are two daughters, Barbara Blager and Linda (Vince) DeMarino; two sons, Donald Davison and Dennis (Yolanda) Davison; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Davison.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Russell, Gary, and Allen (in infancy) Davison; two daughters, Carol Anbar and Charlene Sinkler; sons-in-law, James Blager and Robert Sinkler; sisters, Dorothy Applegate and Rosemary Grobe; and brothers, Leonard, August, and Robert Kreuser.
She was a loving grandmother to 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8th, at Proko Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
