Ken taught my Mom, Rhoda (Long) Metzler at Ephrata and then was still teaching when I attended! I joined his walking club in Junior High and appreciated his energy. It had been great to reconnect with him in recent years as my Grandma was a close neighbor to him at Landis Homes and through his volunteering with Child Evangelism Fellowship. He has been a great example of living out his faith and staying engaged with others.
