Even though I only got to know Werner for 5 years, I will always treasure the times that Diane and I spent with him. He always had a wink and a smile for me. I called him Dad because I lost my father right before I met Diane and Werner always was able to fill that void for me. I'll miss his stories about the war and growing up in Germany I'll certainly miss his hysterically funny jokes. Werner was a proud man who was greatly loved by all his family and friends. Rest in Peace, Dad! We'll miss you!
