Condolences

Condolence From: Luke Nigliazzo Famile
Condolence: I married Laura Arrington in 1966 and met Bob Heister as he and Laur’s Father were partners in Arrington and Heister Cattle Company. Bob also worked with Mr Arrington on oil interest owned by our family, At Mr Arrington’s death Bob and I continued the partnership and he became my tutor as to what was meant by hard work. We had many adventures sitting on oil wells being drilled or driving to Laredo to service our leases. Bob was a good father, servant to his community, and the most willing to help a friend.
Bob always helped with me scouting camp outs in the pecan grove and we never left his home without a box of vegetables from his garden. I remember the corn field as well as the “turnip patch” he planted one year. Everyone got turnips! Bob is remembered by me and my family as a good man that we all should strive to be. Knowing him over these 50 years has been one of my life’s greatest experiences. My heart felt condolences go out to Bob junior and all the grandchildren. We Will miss him but know he with his love ones who will be waiting to receive him.

Condolence From: Donna Wehr Cook
Condolence: My sympathy goes out to the Heister family.
My dad Carl enjoyed working with Bob at the Power Plant for many years. He was one of the "good ol' boys." My mom always loved our outings to pick up pecans at Bob & Sue's grove when my sisters & I were young - we had lots of happy memories of those days. In fact, we were just reminiscing about that recently.
Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead. May God bless you with many fond memories.
