Obituary for Dale Pilsitz

Dale L. Pilsitz, 82, of Middletown entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Middletown Home.
He was born October 17, 1935 in Royalton and was the loving son of the late Lewis G. and Anna R. (Hawk) Pilsitz.
Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired after working with Met Ed, TMI, and a consulting firm, throughout his years of employment.
He was a member of Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Middletown.
Dale was a member of the Legion Post 594, Moose Post 410, 5th Ward Steelton and Rescue Hose Co., Middletown.
He was an avid golfer and golfed in leagues for several years at Sunset Golf Course.
In addition to his parents Dale was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Pilsitz and daughter Denise Brekosky.
Dale is survived by his daughter, Karen DeCamp and her husband Rick; brothers, Kenneth R. Pilsitz, Jan R. Pilsitz; grandchildren, Lauren, Madelyn and Matthew Brekosky, Derick DeCamp.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 280 N. Race St. Middletown with the Rev. Ted Keating as celebrant. There will be a viewing on Monday, February 12, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 260 East Main St. Middletown and another from 10:00 Am until 10:45 AM at Matinchek Funeral Home, Tuesday.
Interment will be at the Middletown Cemetery, Middletown.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to his church or to Hospice of Central PA, 1320 Linglestown Rd. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
