Condolence: Dear Aunt Sharon and family,
We are sad for your loss. I liked and admired my Uncle Duane. He was friendly, kind, and quite an athlete. I know you will miss him a lot. I just read Uncle Loren's tribute to Duane which my brother John sent me. I was very moved and it brought back a lot of old and good memories of days gone by. I was touched seeing Uncle Duane caring for Grandma when we visited her early in our marriage. Uncle Duane also calmly helped in a joint rescue operation for Carol when she was bounced out of our raft into the river at a Deutz family reunion in the rockies!
Hope we can make it back to Minnesota sometime and catch up with our wonderful relatives.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss of a great husband and father. Duane was my friend since high school. We were very close as football players @ St. Johns. Boy, that guy was some great running back. But I really became a close friend in recent years as golfing buddy's at Savannah Oaks. I came to love and admire him for his many fine qualities.
