Braelyn Leigh Wade
Funeral services for Braelyn Leigh Wade of Downsville, LA will be 11:00am Monday, January 8, 2018 at The Assembly in West Monroe, LA with Shane Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 9:00am until time of service Monday, January 8, 2018 at the church.
Braelyn was born August 5, 2008 in West Monroe, LA and was chosen to be one of God’s Little Angels on January 4, 2018 at the age of 9. She was adored by all of her grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her great grandfather “Granddaddy”, Robert L. Womack; great grandmother “Granny”, Rethie Womack; great-grandfather “Papa”, George W. Wade and great-grandmother “Nanny”, Lillian Wade.
Survivors include her mother, Lillie Wade; two sisters, Josie Leigh Wade and Teagan Leigh Hayes; grandparents, “Granny” Brenda Wade and “Papa” Mike Wade; two uncles, Will Wade and Jon M. Wade; two aunts, Sarah Wade Burnett (Blake) and Lee Amy Wade Wright; great-aunts, Kathryn Talley, Tina Robinson (Sonny), Annette Darden, Marcia Leleux (Micheal), Lisa Gill (Barron), Debbie Wade (Tom), Penny Janis (Rick) and Sue Wade; great-uncles, Charles Womack, Robert L. Womack Jr. (Peggy), Rickey Womack (Sally), Donald Womack (Martha Kay), Ralph Womack (Dianne), Glen Womack (Judy), Mickey Wise, Billy Wade (Belinda); cousins, Addy R. Wade, Gunner G. Wade, Ellie K. Wade, Bethany Wright, Jack Wright, Austin Wright, Dylan, Dalton Wade and Kale Wade; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to The Assembly, 715 Cypress St., West Monroe, LA 71291, designated to purchase a “special” chair in Braelyn’s memory.
