John R. Crowninshield, 84, passed away January 5, 2018.

He was born October 1, 1933 in Redlands, California and was a 54-year Colorado Springs resident.
John was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired electronics engineer.

Survivors include his wife, Joey Crowninshield; three daughters,Toni Chontos, Sandra Crowninshield-Schaefer, and Tami Murphy; two brothers, Charles Scholz, and Robert Scholz; 7 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

Celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 East Fountain Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
