The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Dingee can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My Dad

For those of you who know me, you know how much Iove football. I have essays from 5th grade stating how I wanted to play professional football. But my Dad, who played football too, (and was pretty darn good) would not let me play until "my bones were fully developed".  Well I begged and begged until he couldnt stand it anymore.  He let me sign up in October of my 8th grade year.  Well, as most of you know, football starts in August.

I had posters of my two idols on my bedroom wall.  Walter Payton an Earl Campbell, but my real here was my dad.  He had a quiet gentle strength about him.  He was selfless and he was always there for me and the family.  He was always patient and working to provide for the family. Family was everything to him.

He was always there to support me in everything.  He made every game I ever played in and the days he came to watch practice, I always gave just a little more.

One of his favorite sayings to me in high school was "Dont take any wooden nickels"

I will miss him...

I love you Dad
