The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linda Denney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Lindas obsession over 'Hydro'

Firstly when Linda and Denny came over in 2000, we took them to Edinbrough castle, which they wanted to see. At the entrance, visitors had the option of using an audio guide. The couple in front of Linda asked for one in French and when Linda was asked if she wanted one, she said yes please ,in Canadian. The four of us were crying with laughter when she realised what she'd said.   When Linda came over for our daughers wedding , she was concerned that we were using 'too much' hydro. We still laugh at the look on her face when we came home, after a short outing  and Linda realised that she'd left the light on in her room. or when my iron wouldn't work and Linda said she had switched it off on the iron which I never did. At least I didn't have to go out and buy a new one! BUT! the best was on the day of the wedding. Linda noticed a switch on the kitchen wall with a light on, so being Linda, she switched it off. The only problem was it was the master switch for the central heating and hot water!! Ed came back from the airport after picking up some guests, went for a shower ...and ...no hot water! It wasn't until the day after that I noticed the switch had been turned  off.  you can imagine how much we ribbed her for that.
