David Louro, 50, of Newington, husband of Heather (Potter) Louro, and father of Alexa and Emily Louro, died Thursday, January 11, 2018. Born in Hartford, son of Antonio Januario Louro of West Hartford and the late Maria Emilia (Santos) Louro, he was a graduate of Conard High School. David owned and operated C & C Wine and Spirits in Berlin. David was an avid Red Sox, Dallas Cowboys and Portuguese Sporting soccer team fan. Dave loved his Portuguese heritage and he loved spending time with his beloved daughters who were the light of his life. Besides his wife, daughters and father, he leaves behind his step-daughter, Alexis Leger, his sister and brother-in-law, Rosemarie and Domingos Portal of Rocky Hill and three nephews/godsons, Jeffrey, Alexander and Anthony Portal. David also leaves an aunt, Guilhermina Louro and an uncle, Jack Santos, along with many special cousins and dear friends. Calling hours are Monday, (Jan. 15) from 4 to 7 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. The funeral procession will be Tuesday, (Jan. 16), 9:00 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford, CT.
