Condolence: It is with a heavy heart that I learned, only yesterday Nov 21, 2019 that Jim had passed.I do not know why I had not heard or realized he was gone. I am currently seeking out all former University of Ottawa 1974 Gee-Gees swim team members. We are planning a reunion. Jim was a member of our team. I am one of the former team captain. I was also, for 30yrs the University of Ottawa swimming pool manager. Jim had booked the pool to bring his class to give them a different experience... He was an amazing person.

Condolence: My condolences to the Redmond families. I'm sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Jim. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. More encouraging thoughts at jw.org?
