Geneva Martin Anglin, age 96, widow of Aster Anglin, died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at The Terrace in Berea, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of the late Brutus and Maggie McCollum Martin of Three Links, Kentucky. Also preceding her in death were her brothers Olen, B.C. and Joe Martin, and her sister Opal Phillips.
Geneva was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Berea. She was a wife, mother and grandmother but also an accomplished seamstress, quilt maker and pastry chef. She had been an employee of Churchill Weavers and Berea College Candy Kitchen.
Surviving are her three children: Alma Jean Stone, Frances (and Jim) Chrisman, Joe (and Clara) Anglin. Six grandchildren: Randy Rigsby, Roger (and Sharon) Rigsby, Robin (and Keith) Lanter, Rhonda (and Mark) Carl, Renee (and Matt) Deller, Greg (and Katie) Chrisman. Eight great grandchildren: Ryan, Jared, and Tyler Rigsby, Trevor and Trinity Carl, Carter Deller, Elliana and Everett Chrisman. Five great-great grandchildren: Raylan, Lucas, Parker, Chesney and Riley Rigsby.
Funeral services for Geneva will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until time for the service. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons: Randy Rigsby, Roger Rigsby, Greg Chrisman, Ryan Rigsby, Jared Rigsby, Tyler Rigsby, Carter Deller, and Trevor Carl.
