The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Kessler can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

A favorite student

Joe was a really sharp student of mine in Architectural Drafting his junior year at Hutch-Tech. He thought about what to ask about, yet wasn't afraid to question me on anything. I'm glad I convinced him to join the Guard, even though he was in another company: then we could bust each others' chops in the field at Annual Training....I'm pretty sure he was the "ringleader" who got other students to try to lock me into the teachers' john during a cigarette break, but you know Joe: he'd sit there with a bewildereed look on his face as if to say, " Who, me ? "    Then there was the "Great Weight Loss" caper,me trying to lose weight, for money of course, and Joe fixing the scale for him to win the bet !! Those ARE really good memories. I'm sorry to not be there, but I'm really flu-ed in.  Just remember what a great guy Joe was!!
