Condolence From: Scott Hoge
Condolence: Marj, Bobby, and Cheryl,
I'm so sorry to hear of Cecil's passing.
Going back to the time I worked for Cecil at the Saddle & Sirloin, the adventures of the summers and the trail rides and the S&S horse show and the American Royal were high points of my late teens and twenties. And Marj, you and Cecil coming to Wichita for our wedding is still a special memory for Terri and I.
More importantly, the lessons Cecil taught me while working for him, have served me well through my life. As is often the case with youngsters, I didn't realize class was even in session... but Cecil knew. I am so sorry I let contact with him slip away.
Cecil, I can't imagine a better horse than "Honey Bun" was, but I'm sure you have a good horse under you now. Vaya con Dios.

To the Norman family, I bid you peace.

Scott Hoge
