Obituary for Charles L. Aubrey

Dateline: Burnt Hills, NY
Charles L. Aubrey 89, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at The Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Charles was born on March 25, 1928 in Schenectady, NY and was the son of the late Frank J. Aubrey and Lizzie (VanNatten) Aubrey. He attended school in Schenectady and started his career at E.T. Carol Block Factory in Scotia. Later, he moved on to Central Heating and Plumbing and finally retired from Burnt Hills Hardware. He was a mason and truck driver for many years. Charles was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt.
Charles was the beloved husband of Gladys (Phelps) Aubrey and devoted father to Sharon L. (the late Bill) Willman, Donna M. (Warren) Greenwald and Cynthia (David) L. Decker; caring grandfather of Careena Eggleston, Joshua Aubrey, Cassandra Aubrey-Almy and Justin Decker. He is also survived by three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Rd., Ballston Lake, NY 12019
All are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Ballston Spa Cemetery.
