Joaquin Muñoz, Jr., 39, January 16, 2018, lifetime resident of southwest side of Chicago- Brighton Park neighborhood; cherished son of Maria Guadalupe Muñoz and the recently deceased, Joaquin Muñoz, Sr.; dearly beloved brother of Gerardo Muñoz. Graduate of De La Salle Institute and Elmhurst College. Proud member of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc., Western Springs Masonic Lodge #1136, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Chicago. Joaquin was well liked, had many lifelong friendships, was very proud of his family and was always nice and kind to all.

Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, Jan. 21, from 3 to 8 p.m. Masonic Service Sunday, 7 p.m., under the auspices of Western Springs Lodge # 113, A.F. & A. M. Funeral Monday, Jan. 22, 9:30 a.m., at chapel, to St. Pancratius Church, 4025 S. Sacramento Ave., Chicago. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Burial Mt Greenwood Cemetery.
